Research
The Chris & Kathleen Koch AACA Library and Research Center is open free to the public during our regular hours of operation. While visiting the library you can view any of our books or look at specific information regarding one of your cars or maybe just an automobile topic that you are interested in. For those of you that can’t make it out to the library in person, we offer off-site research available to anyone who is interested to be completed by library staff.
If you are interested in off-site research, please fill in the Research Request Form below as completely as possible. We will search our collection and then contact you with a list of the available information and the applicable duplication fees for copies or scans. You may then decide which items to order. Most of the time research requests are handled within a week but they may take longer to process depending on the library’s workload. Shipping is fulfilled via the US Postal Service only.

$30/hr chargeable in units of $5 per 10 minutes
Photocopies and Digital Scans
$0.25 a page for B&W
$0.50 a page for Color
$2 per Digital Scan
Scans up to 600dpi, JPEG, PDF, TIFF

Shipping and Processing
AACA Members
Only Pay for Shipping and Copies/Scans
Non-Members
must pay a Processing Fee of $10 to start the research and help cover shipping.
Maps and Blueprint Reproduction Fees
Digital scans of maps and architectural plans will be calculated at $2.00 per square foot. Photocopies of maps and plans will be considered on a case-by-case basis with item condition taken into consideration.
Audiovisual Materials
Digital audiovisual reproductions are available on a case-by-case basis.
COMMERCIAL USE
(Books, blogs, websites and other printed media)
JPEG or TIFF 300-600 dpi $20.00/scan
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and checks made payable to the AACA Library.
Because we are a non-profit corporation, our archival information and research services must be self-supporting. The schedule above reflects our fees in time and materials to fulfill your request. Please note, For Non-Members the processing and shipping fee must be paid in US Dollars before we start on the request.
